Journey Starts!

The moment we put on our luggage, Howard has already create a list of plans.

First we need to have lunch, just at the Bukit Bintang area. Can choose anything we want, since there is no preferences. We decided to eat local Chinese Food. Tasted very yummy.

Next plan is, we are heading Batu Cave. We are going to do it like the locals, taking the bus. So, there's two type of bus that we're taking. A Utama (U) bus, and B-bus -totally forgot what the B stands for! The cool thing is, we just need to pay once for each bus, and we can ride free for the whole day. One bus ticket is RM 2. Cheap!

Of we go, heading Batu Cave.

We were just this close to get off the bus, since it's raining. Even just small drops. So, when the bus passes the bus stop, we just continue to take another round with it. Just in case the rain would stop.
So, there we are heading to the final post with this bus. At the end, apparently we still need to change buses, since there's another one queuing. OK then, no problem.

Only after I think 20 minutes, then I guess the bus started to take off. We did pass the same road that we came before. It goes by the residences. Interesting architecture. Too bad my batt is low, I can't take pictures. One thing Howard told me, is that these buses are allowed to stop anywhere if passengers wants to go off. But they are not allowed to pick up passengers anywhere they like. Should be at the bus stop.

Finally we arrived in Batu Cave. Still raining. We make a small stop in one of the mini market at the Batu Cave area, just to avoid the rains :)

Then, off we go, climbing up all the stairs, heading the top. 279 stairs it is!
