From yesterday's Bible Study Material:
"..when God touches your heart in salvation, He touches your wallet as well. The Joy of loving God and His people increases your sensitivity to people's needs."

summary from yesterday's LifeGroup session (posted by LG leader):

"...it;s patently clear in the account of the "rich young ruler", that if you're not willing to surrender all to Jesus Christ - including your material wealth - you can't enter the kingdom of God
(surrender doesn't necessarily mean that you need to sell everything that you own now and give it to the church. However, when the time comes and you need to pick between obeying God and your money, obeying God, in any form, should come first)....

The rules was a fine young man who claimed to have kept all the commandments, but in fact he had broken the first commandment: He had put wealth above God. He could not bear to leave his riches and follow jesus. Thus, this young man missed out on eternal life.

The ruler could had riches untold as an heir of God and a joint heir with Jesus. Instead he held on to what he could see in this temporal life. (all that he held on to during this quest for contentment was destroyed when Titus besieged and destroyed Jerusalem, AD 70).

Dont's miss the point: Jesus loved this young man, yet He let him walk away.

It's a timely warning: wealth can become our God (whether we are wealthy or not) and God will not tolerate any other Gods before Him.

From today's sermon that hit me most!
"We are mostly tempted because of the things we're most interested.
So, never look down on people coz of their weakness.
Coz different people face different temptations"

Jadi kamar2 diujung makin susah nangkap siarannya. One whole night, Alyne sibuk masang antene sana sini, pinjem obeng, ngambil kabel'nya Irwan. Ga tau deh bwt apa. At the end of the day.. still, there's like 88 people on the field!! You know why? Gambar berbayang bo! You could see 4 people guiding one ball.. and actually itz just one person. Mati ga si?? so kebayang what would happen when they're crowding in front of the gawang??? :)))

I just learned that people is not that "giving" as it seems to be. You thought that their giving is genuine, but when smthing comes up, they started to remind all the "giving" part that they've been contributing..

Give and take..
What do you guys think about it?
Some people think, it's normal.
When you give something, u sure are expecting something back in return. Not immidiately though. But one day, somewhere out there (beneath the pale moon light ;) ) ..
or maybe someday, u'll never know, u'll be expecting the other person's help. Just invest in doing good.
Is it normal? Hmm.. i dont know.

One thing for sure is, you will get disappointed, when u find out that thing are not "that genuine" as it looks. HELLOOO.. Not everyone share the same value. That's why, one thing is, never depend on human, and only on God.

Another thing that I've learned from a friend back in collage:
When everyone starts giving, definitely, each one will be receiving. No one will be left out.

So, what about trusting others?
I just learned about myself is, that am not that good in trusting others. Means like, if am that already attached to people, and when they just disappointed you jst once, in the area that you least expected, i got easily turn off, and started to questioned and analyzing their intentions. Don't know.. just me. Gotta work on that!
