went to the 9am service at GPIB Paulus. Sit on the 2nd row, and can see and experience everything clear, including noticing this one lady with an outstanding hair. We actually saw her with the same style last year. Thatz why i took this pic :)

Been Naughty or Nice?

Planning to go and visit Cici at Fatmawati. She just finished operating her leg to take out of coil -or whatever. So, as usually, meeting point with Tricia n Dody at the Pasar Raya Blok M. Then go straight to the hospital. We arrived quite late, visiting time is already over, but we can still enter. O'Hanny was there with her, both almost asleep. She was quite happy seeing us, since she has been waiting since yesterday hehehe.

Some hours later, we did something bad. We took her home with us to Tangkas -my parents' house, coz she said she's bored at the hospital, n d doctors said she's doing ok and actually can already checked out. Bad.. bad..

Itz on Usi Nina!

Today, we're celebrating Nina's bday (6th dec) in Pizza Cafe. I was at BRI actually, and then rush rush to join them there. Itz good that i made it on time :)

Te Pai a.k.a Tea Ceremony

Te-Pai had to be attended by Liza n Olav, since her dad's Chinese. Quite interesting, coz seems like they're getting some nice "present" from the extended family ;)

Then afterwards, straight to church.
There were some choirs from both side of the family.

The reception was held in Manggala Wanabakti. Full with entertainment. Starting with the Barongsai welcoming both bride and groom out front. Meriah bo! Then the bride and groom was guided by a bunch of youngsters performing tari Lenso from Maluku, towards the stage. After that, when they're seated, the Javanese dancers starting to do their thing. I don't even understand what's the dance is all about. But for sure, bride, groom, and both parents, they all need to be seated, since it would take a while before the dance will finished.

The whole party was actually SO Ambonese style!

Olav's Wedding Day

Pagi, as usual.. nyalon dong ke Sriwijaya :) Me, Dody, Tia, n t'Eef :)
Actually, it's late already! and making it even worse, Yana has other earlier appointments! So, queing it is!
Since Dody n T'Eef already finished, they left earlier with "bluebird".

Well, to avoid getting scold by vader, me n Tia already bring our dress, and decided to get dress in there. So, when we arrive home, would looked like we are ready to go hehehe
the truth, we havent done any make ups yet :) naughty naughty..

We were quite surprised when we arrived in Tangkas, coz it seemed that there's no sign of people ready to go to Petamburan. What's going on? No rush..rush..?
Multimedia guys are still there, taking picture here and there. Olav still posing hahaha. Mamie's still re-doing her make up -'s quite upset with her make up!
Pfuf!! Thank God then..

Oh-oh, not so quick... someone is still on the clock, realizing that we ARE actually late if we're not leaving SOON! Chop chop!

And where is Poppy n Lovy's Mom?? I think we're gonna leave without them.

I drove Tia's car, since she's riding with Olav, on the groomz car. Kindda get lost a bit from the group, but did arrive ya.. sound and safe, not THAT late :) in Liza's place in Pertamburan.

A week ago there were some talking that one of my friend might have died of giving birth.

Today it has been confrimed. When i checked her friendster, I saw her husband's message on the "about me" list. Very sad to hear that. Am not that close to her, but I remember the time during our uni days, we went for an excursion -just a small group, to Singapore for about 5 days. It was quite a fun time, and we enjoyed it a lot!

Anyway, may God strengthen the family thatz in sorrow..

First Badge leaving

Following day..

doing some packings coz today Dody and O'Paul are heading back to Jakarta. Most of us skipped church today, just O'Dezy went and dropped Dody at Marantha church, then picked her up again after the service ended.

Ambon lagi rame ni ama pemilihan calon Ketua Sinode GPM. Seru amat kayaknya. :)


During the day, some went to take Oom Paul n Dody to the airport.

I didn't.

Waiting for Vera to come, coz I was planning to go to Tethyz place to get Ampas Tarigu :) Tricia went and spend a nite at her friend's place. So it's me T'Peety n Vera. Where's Dory? oh.. they went to the airport. :)

Later in around 5, me and vera went to Bt.Gantung, to Tethy. Met the whole big family! :) Tyo was about to sleep :) just now took a bath. Had a loooooooooong chat w/ T'Sien. Then Onnie n Malen picked me up later on. And there was an unpleasant small incident.

Tp sudah la.. Sorry for that.

Onnie's family came and do all the ritually things they're supposed to do, according to Ambonese customs: asking for permission to take Marlene, then put corsage on the parents' suits. Afterwards bidden, then off to the church. Lots and lots of families were their. Some i haven't met since dont know when!

Ceremony went well. Fanuella and Janice played some songs in church. Very very cute. Fanuella on the piano, and Janice with the violin.

Afterwards, sempet terjadi kepanikan, coz the buses was all parked in Baileo Oikumene, not near the church's parking area. Actually it's not that far, but it's noon, and the sun was quite hot, seems like no one wants to walk towards that area. So, one of my relatives gotta go and fetch those buses. Pfuf!

Marlene's Big Day

Groom's family is supposed to be arriving around 11 ya? well, since they're just living in the neighbor, wont take a long time to arrive.

In the mean time, both photographers n cameraman has arrived, getting ready to took Malen's picture. Clicking here and there, in the Bride's room -which was made instantly, coz all the guests from Manado n jakarta has already invaded her room ;)!

Starting with going to the hair dresser -what's more important than that? ;o
So, seems like its just me Tricia and T'Eef. Dody's staying home and will dress Malen up for her wedding. Can u imagine? hehehehe. Dag dig dug der bgt! Hope her hair wouldn't fall off :)

Namalatu Beach

Hari ini teh, cape' pisan euy.. All day in Namalatu. Actually quite BT, soalnya mesti nunggu sana sini baru bisa mulai kerja. Since orang2 yang ditunggu belom pada ada, jadi aja kita photo2 :)

makin siang, yang datang makin banyak. Yang penerima tamu la, yang mo ntr nari2. Oia, i met some old friends from Senior High -Marcello n Garcia. Actually, already met Marcello the other day in Natsepa beach. They're doing all the mulitmediaz on the wedding day.

Siang itu, Zusje bawa ikan kadongdong.. yummy. Ikan Kadongdong is actually just fish thatz cooked together with Kadondong leaves. Tasted very very very very fresh and yummy!! We ate it with casbi rebus, also the acar kuning. Dont wanna have anything better than this!

Home Sweet Home

After going to Namalatu, to check the venue, on the way home we dropped by at Taman Makmur. Supposed to be a Home Sweet Home, but instead, our house is full with all this army, whose been living there for almost 4-5 years. The house looks terrible. Inside was all a mess.

Day 1

Yesterday I slept all day :) jet leg, bo! Naa.. just lazy he he.

We were picked up by Tricia, O'Dezy, Zusje, and Ellen's husband -what's his name again? hm.. maybe I'll remember later.

So, today's schedule supposed to be going to Namalatu beach, and checked out the venue for Marlene and Onnie's reception. Picnic Party: Tricia, Dody, O'Paul, Onnie, Marlene.

And I wonder...

In front of us, was a small family with a -seems like, 1 year old child. I slept almost during the flight, but sometimes got disturb with the man in front of me, who kept on coughing and coughing. Ugh. Well, probably he's sick. But I make sure, it won't disturb my excitements.

We will be stopping in Makassar for only 20 minutes and then go straight to Ambon.

Who's gonna pick us at the airport ya? hmm.
Will it be just like old times? hmm.

AMBON, here I come!!!

We are going to Ambon!!!
After almost 9 years now since my last visit!! wow!

Me and my sister is taking the night flight, will take off at 11.55 pm.
Itz quite exciting, and I can't wait to see what's a head.

The check-in counter is pretty packed. Seems like everyone's going home.
Saw a lot of Ambonese on the plane (of course, lah!) :) much more than the ones I usually met in Plaza Senayan or in Plaza Indonesia hehehe.

Happy Bday Tia!

Today's my cousinz bday, so last night at midnight we wake her up and celebrate her bday.
It was fun, coz a lot of us attended the small party. All in pajamas and sleeping dress :)
